I came across a quote by Brazilian lyricist and novelist Paulo Coelho today that was immediately meaningful.   I took a few minutes to pair the quote with a portrait of me in the mountains of Yoho National Park a few years ago.  Enjoy!

Very talented Edmonton illustrator Jason Blower was asked by Mountain Equipment Coop to illustrate the environmental features of stores of the venerable Canadian retailer.  Jason, in turn, asked me to photograph the piece for use in MEC’s Spring + Summer 2011 print catalogue, which happens to be their 40th anniversary and final print catalogue.

On February 11, 2011 I was honoured to be interviewed on CTV’s Canada AM, billed as “Canada’s most watched morning news program”, about the Miguelito’s Little Green Car project.
