Several weeks ago I was asked by a friend to shoot photos of her for a magazine article that she was writing. I was happy to oblige, so we wandered through the University of Alberta campus shooting images at various locations. After a few ensuing emails with the editor of Briarpatch Magazine, we chose an image, and that was that.
At least until today, when my copy of the magazine arrived. I’ve known Anna Reitman as a local educator and an energetic activist and volunteer, but this article has opened my eyes. According to the magazine, her hobbies include “selling Kalashnikov rifles and weapons-grade uranium.” Long live satire!
The article isn’t available online yet, so I scanned my copy. Click here for a legible version.
